Normal Distribution

[Yahoo message 1904]

The normal distribution generated in Vol Dist Chart is
not the classic historical standard deviation on weighted average
of all the ticks.

It is called the Gaussian fit model which uses
the distribution of the data to estimate the probable normal
distribution. It projects where the correct normal distribution
should be.

To chart the classic value area you can use the new
power indicator "Volume Distribution" which is already
described in the Help file under Power Indicators.

You will find that the classic volume weighted version
in fact is almost the same as the regular bollinger band.

The new power indicator "volume distribution" can chart both
the classic model and the one used in the vol dist chart.
