Scanning Peak/Troughs
[yahoo message 1963]
The scanner is a realtime scanner so it scans at the very last data point. It could be that the crossover is a >= so once the values match, the scanner will be triggered. You can add some tolerance so the crossover has to be above the tolerance before the scanner is triggered. If you need more help, please supply us the scanner file (if you prefer, private) and we will take a look at it because there are multiple ways of doing what you described in NeoTicker. ----------------- Louis Lin TickQuest Inc www.tickquest.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "ingopan" <hemm@z...> To: <neoticker@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Saturday, May 18, 2002 10:02 AM Subject: [neoticker] Breaking of Peaks and/or Troughs > Hi! > > I tried to write a technical scanner in neoticker, that allows me to > scan for broken peaks, troughs on a 10m intraday chart. > > I used the Swing High/Low Indicator for it with vars of 1,5,10.
